Mid-season Mock Draft

Over the course of 19 days, a group of Cafe veterans and relative newcomers alike took part in a 2006-2007 mid-season mock draft, revealing some player valuation swings when compared to the Cafe’s 2006-2007 preseason mock draft. If your league just started up, this would be a perfect read right now.

Gone are the days when Brad Miller is selected by the third round (he was selected in the 7th round). Peja Stojakovic? Who’s he? You might not know if you look only to this draft for guidance as he wasn’t even drafted in the eight round mock. The values of last season’s all-around contributors like Morris Peterson and Eddie Jones took a hit. Likewise, last-season surprises like Boris Diaw and David West saw their value drop.

And so, without further commentary, here are the results of the 2006-2007 mid-season mock draft.
