NBA Mock Draft
ROUND 1

Though June 28 marks the official date of the 2006 NBA draft, Round 1 of the Cafe’s official NBA mock draft has taken place. Playing the role of GM and decision-maker, 13 members of the Cafe participated in drafting the first round of the 2006 NBA draft.

A guideline for the members was to draft as though they were making the official decision for their assigned team(s), versus projecting or predicting who the team will actually select. The results produced some predictable selections, some questionable selections and the occasional bargain. Results are below:
