As we wind down to the final weeks of the fantasy regular season and look ahead to the playoffs, many are looking for that player to give you that extra boost towards, in Stephon Marbury’s words, the “shiny stuff”.
Cleveland is Devin Brown’s fifth NBA franchise. He was signed to provide a boost off the bench for the lagging Cavaliers’ offense. He also brings playoff experience from his time with the San Antonio Spurs. Brown has always been a role player, doing the intangible things that help teams win. That was his job with the Spurs and he has brought that to the table for the Cavaliers as well.
Luckily for us fantasy owners, some of these contributions by Brown lead to valuable fantasy statistics. He has always been a jack-of-all-trades, master of none, which is great for fantasy teams that need a little bit of everything. In his past 10 games, he has averaged about 10 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.5 assists while rarely turning the ball over.
So if you’re looking for some general help, give journeyman Devin Brown a shot.
