Kawhi out 10-14 days

Postby phx_2008_champs » Sat Nov 17, 2012 12:13 am

"Kawhi Leonard will miss 10-14 days with right knee/quad tendinitis.
This is a terrible break for Kawhi's fantasy owners, and it's surprising since he's coming off a 16-point game on Thursday and has averaged under 29 minutes per game. Stephen Jackson seems like the most likely option to replace him at SF, with extra minutes filtering down to Danny Green and whomever else Gregg Popovich decides to plug into his deep rotation."

Source: Rotoworld

This is upsetting, considering Kawhi is coming off his second best game of the season. Jackson put up a nice line last night and is probably worth an add at this point. Is Kawhi worth holding onto in H2H daily leagues at this point? I'm thinking of dropping him for S-Jax or another player on waivers.

Hurry back. In the meantime, Steph Jackson doesn't seem like a bad flier.

Yeah, but I have no space for him or even Danny Green. Also got Pekovic injured as well. :-o

Stephen Jackson breaks finger, out 4-6 weeks.... so much for plan B.
Plan C? Danny Green I think? Is he the guy to get all the minutes?

Yeah any thoughts and opinions? I've read about jumping on Kawhi and riding that pony for a bit but Danny Green is a viable option. Thoughts/Opinions?

both danny and kawhi (when he returns) should be in line for a bump.

Spurs just agreed to terms with James Anderson. Wonder if he is simply a plan D option in case of even more injuries.

Think you're right. Saw some Spurs guys talking about how Pop went with 3 bigs at times in today's game. ;-7

Worth dropping Kawhi in a 12 team Keeper for Metta World Peace? Standard 9CAT.
