Who will earn 1st round "value"?

Ok, let's see if this will be any fun. Who do you think will earn 1st round value, but is not typically being drafted in the first round? You don't have to provide a reason. I'm going to throw a first guess out there without any substantive reasons. Call it a gut feel and leave it at that. Or explain away if you so choose.


My choice: Marc Gasol

Brandon Jennings and Carmelo Anthony are two I'd toss out there.

Are we talking H2H? If so, I am going with Ibaka. More minutes and it looks like he added a 3 pointer.

Jesus Red. The love can go to far. Davis will post first round value this year with about the same probability as me getting elected president (as a Canadian citizen).

Josh Smith seems a safer bet, with maybe Horford tossed on to the pile. Gasol and Cousins are solid bets. Jennings doesn't make the cut for me. Melo is a borderline option IMO, but I think his huge FG% drag will keep him out of the first round.

I didn't mention this earlier, but I excluded guys like Horford and Gasol as I already consider them borderline firsts. Besides, it's more fun looking deeper. You get one right and you look like a genius.

The ones which come to my mind which haven't yet been mentioned are Curry, Harden and (my dark horse) Ibaka.
