2012-2013 Wait-List Information

The Octagon is a unique league with 36 managers. Co-ordinating so many people is a logistical challenge so the two basic things we're looking for are: (1) fantasy hoops knowledge/skill and (2) guys who are reasonably active as Cafe contributors, therefore more likely to be present for league announcements, drafts, giving your opinions on trades, etc. Sign up below, we'll put a cap on the list when we feel we have enough. The list is in no particular order and guys who don't respond to PM's in a reasonable time may be removed from the list. If you don't get in immediately, there may be openings closer to the NBA season so be patient and thanks for your interest in the league. You'll need to confirm you've read the league rules before joining a league.

What we're getting at here is to encourage waitlist members who are fairly new to the Cafe to get involved in Cafe discussions and show they will be quality Octagon managers who do more than just check in once a while to make their draft picks and update their roster. Like I said before we have time before the live drafts begin and are in no rush to fill the leagues yet. We don't need to fill in these last few slots with guys who are unknown quantities, so if you want a spot then get active at the Cafe and give us a chance to see you in action. Quality over quantity.

All 3 leagues have drafted but the wait-list info above still applies. Its possible we'll have a manager drop out mid-season or be asked to leave due to inactivity, in which case we'd ask waitlist guys if they'd take over the team (if that's even possible in a Yahoo league??) to ensure a spot in a league the following year. It'd be epic if a guy took over a team then busted it into the Top 4 through savvy management. Long-story short, we'll add you to the waitlist and consider you if you stay active at the Cafe.
