Some Things Are Just More Important...

What happens when an Englishman (whose TV programming includes cricket, rugby, and Monty Python, but not a trace of NBA basketball), sets his sights on winning a fantasy hoops title?

Find out as Rob Donald relates his trials and tribulations in an irreverent look at our hobby from the other side of the big pond! :-D

Ha! Very nice article.

Choosing the fantasy league was classic. Who wouldn't? ;-)

I even liked the "putting the apostrophe in the wrong place" part. Maybe Englishman fantasy geeks just write better than American fantasy geeks.

Rob is new to the Cafe; he's registered as Fantasy Rob. :-)

I'm already looking forward to his description of his draft... ;-D

Sorry to hear the bad news, Rob. Or might it actually be good news for those who get to read about it...? :-D

Nice write Rob! ;-D Good luck this season! ;-D

And don't worry, some of U.S. folks don't get to watch hardly any games either (aka "dad with two young children"). I think I made it to all of one NBA game (Wolves) last year and was able to watch about 30 minutes of baskeball highlights all season.

Trust me when I say that you can be successful at fantasy basketball by simply analyzing stats, reading the newspaper/magazine/web and visiting this cafe! ;-D ;-)
