That's already been taken care of.

From Rule 3.2:
During any season the Champions League elects to use the dual H2H-Roto format (the "FBC Octagon"), the final standings shall be determined by adding the manager's finish in each league and dividing the sum by two. For example, 2nd in H2H and 3th in Roto = a sum of 5 / 2 = averaged finish of 2.5. The manager with the lowest averaged finish is the FBC Octagon Champion; the manager with the second lowest averaged finish is 2nd, etc. Ties will be broken, if necessary, by calculating the relative scoring percentage of both managers in relation to the median score of all managers in each league. For example, the median score of all H2H leagues is .500; a manager with a winning percentage of .587 is .087 above the median score. A similar calculation can be done for the Roto league and when the two relative scoring percentages from each league are added together for both managers, the tie will be broken.

I now am taking note that Ed is no longer active (still has DWade on his roster and is not setting his lineups), essentially handing Geo a huge and much needed win. :-/ Sigh

That week we matched up was as close as it could get for me winning 6-3, I think I won a couple of categories by a matter of points and vice-versa, and then last week with ed and this week with crimedogg's injury laden team I've had an easy last two weeks going into the playoff bracket. And considering how tight it is between 3rd and 6th, it's really helped me out. Probably the things that people, who dislike h2h, dislike.

So 58.5 for a roto league.
702 (total points avaible ) / 12 (participants)

702 = 1 to 12 (number of participants) times 9 (number of categories)

Unfortunately this eliminates any chance I have left I would say.

I believe once you make top six in the h2h (playoffs) you cannot drop below that position right? You are facing more difficult opponents so that would be unfair if you could.

Yeah, that's correct ... unfortunately for me. I definitely picked the wrong season to pin my hopes on Kirk Hinrich and Jason Terry, two guys who've been rock solid stone-cold locks. And to think I let a little bird in my head convince me CPaul was gimpy, lol. :~(

Not sure about that...you're solid for 1st in h2h and you're currently 6th in roto with room to move up (2.5 back of 5th). So, currently 3.5 in overall standings. I'm leading, with 1st in roto and 4th in h2h (but could move down in both), at 2.5. The other contender is jaytizy (3rd roto, 5th h2h) with 4. The 2nd place teams in h2h (thelimey's We Got Deng) and h2h (ed's We are the Robots) are in 11th in their other leagues. shotcaller's teams were doing well but are currently 6th in h2h and 7th in roto. And as mentioned earlier, teams who are out of the h2h playoffs don't have much of chance and currently, only my teams, your teams, and jay's teams are in the top 6 for both leagues. The first week of h2h is critical as I face jaytizy and our match ups during the season have been close.
