RedH, if you're willing to share, did you take GWall over Iguodala b/c of the outside change Iggy might be there in Round 3 or b/c you feel GWall is a more valuable pairing with Dwight?

8th really is the festering hellhole of a pick this year. Perhaps it's appropriate then that my selection is:

1.08 Pau Gasol, LAL, PF,C

At least he'll be on TV three times a week. Oh well...

EDIT: Sorry to mess with your post Shotcaller (I feel your pain), but I think we don't name undrafted guys in these Octagon drafts.

Dirkadirk, such an unsexy pick. But at least I was lucky enough to avoid #8.

Come on dude -- are you with us or not? First the delay in posting your pick and then posting a player taken 4 picks earlier.

Both, but definitely leaned towards more valuable. Charlotte has a void that GWall has a good chance of sticking his foot in. He and Brown got on the same page last year and I look for him to fill some of Okafor's void. Also, Chandler plays a better man to man so GWall's help defense (steals/blocks) could get a boost protecting the basket/lanes or just scooping up boards.

Iggy's nice but the Princeton offense isn't something he's familar with. Guy is used to dribbling and doing his thing. In Eddie Jordan's system, how successful will he be in when everyone has an opportunity to touch the ball almost everytime down the court?
