Well, um, I'm gonna say its because despite all that crazy running around screens, he's just not generally a very fantasy friendly player, in a 9-cat sense. I like his character (which I consider a 10th cat, equal in importance to the other cats), but his 18/3/4 with 1 3PTM and negligible defensive stats with decent percentages don't exactly sizzle on the grill like this guys wholesome bacon:
Don't get me wrong, Rip won't even be close to the biggest flameout pick in this round or next, he's just probably not gonna crank it up a gear or three and give you much better than Round 10 per-game value. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
