Intuitively, it would seem so, but the quirky nature of H2H still tends to give us a deviation from what a "pure" roto standing would be. For example, last season my H2H team's FG% was something rather low in the .450's range which when you look at the internal rankings page had me ranked 10th or so (good for 3 roto points). However, due to quirky H2H bounces (and my indubitably savvy managing or blind luck, take your pick), I was very close to .500 winning percentage, quite a bit higher than guys who were in the .460's on the season. That's weird but that's H2H. Our system does not make those weird H2H bounces perfectly true like roto scoring does, but at least it does away with the horrendous practice of determining final standings based on totally non-representative final few weeks of NBA season!
