I don't mind being number 4. Dirk is as solid as it gets. While he might not be ranked 4th at the end of the year, he is the best bet to be a top 4-8 player at this point. Also, he is an ironman. I would hate to be 9th, just a tough spot to be in but for me, Granger fell. The wildcard in the bunch is Curry. Another guy that could be ranked 4th when it is all said and done. I would take Curry 7th all day long.

I wanted Horford, but I'll settle on Billups. Hopefully Melo will be staying in Denver and Billups can put up his regular numbers.

It was difficult passing on Granger. Hard to explain, but I like him in H2H a bit more than rotisserie. Last two seasons he's played around 60-something games, has his share of .400 FG% kind of games, but is a fantasy 'stud' none the less and as well rounded as they come. Deron Williams puts me in great position for assists (while being pretty efficient) and just felt like taking the gamble in snagging the young first time all-star (versus some of elite PG's approaching 36-37 years old). Deron's going to have to play as well as ever for Utah to stay afloat, don't see his numbers dropping much, and I think he'll mesh well with the newer Jazz players.

I wasn't intending on taking Howard when this draft started. I really wanted Al Jefferson here. There were other big men to take but considering I went small with Paul and JJ on my first two picks, it made sense to me to go dominant big man stats and take the consequences on the ft%. Huge gamble on my part. I also started overthinking that Howard would be plonden's pick and not wanting to see a trio of Lebron, Rondo, and Howard.
