Bogut was a tough pick for me fellas. Hate to have injury risks on an h2h team (already have Kevin Martin too), especially in this league where we don't have playoffs so every week matters just the same, but I just had to do it. Couldn't pass up Bogut at Pick #76. I purposely constructed my team to have a ridiculous FT% so that I could take on a player like him around these parts and still be pretty dominant in FT%. Removing FT% and assists (since I'm punting them), Bogut shot up to #3 in per-game value last year.
Here's to hoping both he and Martin have healthy years.
This is an acceptable place to take a chance on Bogut. Scola was the last big man on the board that I value over an injured Bogut. Otherwise, I'd have snatched him up.
Was going to take Bogut with my next pick if he had made it back to me. I'm totally misreading where players are going to go in this draft
We were all looking at Bogut. I eliminated him early in my process, but he was given plenty of consideration. A bit early to take a HUGE injury risk player who doesn't have a serious time table. recovering from an injury i have never been witness to. He could be out much longer than anybody is talking about. Possible complications or relapse. 1 or 2 months is semi-managable. 3-4 months makes him untouchable in my book. Every win counts in this league much like MLB records(not fantasy). And there are/were players on board with comparable numbers without the injury risk. NBA drafts are deep with production. Pool full of valuable players floating around. Again a bit early for me to be taking sizeable risks.
