Re: 2010-2011 In-Season Updates

I guess I should be happy to be around 5th/6th in this league. I looked at my original draft picks and after pick #4, it was bad with the exception of Dorell Wright #11. #5 - Mo Williams: Hurt, underperformed, hurt, dropped. #6 - Greg Oden: Never played, out for season, dropped. #7 - Gilbert Arena: Traded to Orlando, should be dropped. #8 - Tyrus Thomas: Injured, dropped. #9 - Anderson Varejao: Out for season, dropped. So from picks #5-9 I've dropped 4 out of 5 and am holding on to Arenas as a bench player. Bah.
Yes, Warriors sold at last!

I gotta say, man i probably had the best draft outta everyone, but I also have been the worst manager on top of that. If you look at my draft, my only bad picks were drew gooden and my last pick, corey brewer. Everyone one else has been a pretty solid player, and only baron and brook have underperformed. But before the season is over tho, their ADPs are sure to go up. My only problem is bad management like droppin Augustin and Udrih, and constantly pickin up players. I cant help it, im in front of a computer all day at work, and my gym also happens to have computers.

You manage your fantasy team at the gym? :-o

Top 3 despite picking at the back end is an accomplishment, it's such a disadvantage when you don't have the luxury of building around Durant, Paul, James, Dirk, or other rocks, basically requires flawless drafting and good FA pickups. I wish I didn't waste my last 5 picks.

Hadn't chimed in for awhile, but thought I'd like to mention...

I never thought I'd see such serious lack of NERVE from some of the managers in the H2H First Division League. We're already past the All-Star break, and NOT ONE trade has been made since the season started. Only THREE have been made all year, the last one coming October 9th?!? :-* Are you kidding me?!?! I've thrown out offers to the league, both personally and on the message board and team slogan, and NOTHING!

I mean, I knew the competition in this league was going to be STIFF. But sweet Jesus, people, the stiffness in this league could put top billing porn stars to shame! And I had a feeling a few managers wouldn't want to deal simply because they were scared they would "accidentally" make another team too strong to beat. But all of them?!? Wooooooooooow...that's some serious strategery going on right there, yes sir!

Of course, I'm just bitching about it because I used up all 50 of my moves just before the All-Star break. :-/ But don't laugh, Redhopeful has recently joined me with the same infamous distinction! ;-D At least I know I'm not the ONLY aggressive type in the league - or is that, impatient...I forget...

Anyhow, what was I saying? Oh, right...I never thought I'd see such serious lack of NERVE from some of the managers in the H2H First Division League... }:-)

I feel the same way...theres been one trade all season long in the 1st division roto league, and ive offered quite a few pretty good deals. Im surprised some people turned them down, but some of them im extremely glad they turned them down. Ive never been afraid to pull the trigger, but man i dont think one person has even offered me a deal all season lol. Maybe people want me to lose.
