Final standings in the champions league:

Roto
1. Crimedogg32 77.5
2. Amar'es Star'es 72 5
3. DamnLies 64
4.5. SA Sugarkids 63
4.5. Greyone MiaMe Rileys 63
6. Shotcaller 61
7. Lorenzo 55
8. BokZg 53
9. CavemanDoctor 52.5
10.5. thelimey 50
10.5. ugk34 50
12. big.d57 41

Head to head

1.5. Crimedogg32 127-87-2 .593 *
1.5. ThePaulzBallz 127-87-2 .593 *
3. SA Sugarkids 120-93-3 .563
4. thelimey 116-94-6 .551
5. Wingmen 109-104-3 .512
6. CavemanDoctor 107-104-5 .507
7. Shotcaller 108-107-1 .502
8. Greyone 107-107-2 .500
9. ugk34 98-115-3 .461
10. DamnLies 97-115-4 .458
11. big.d57 93-121-2 .435
12. Lorenzo 68-143-5 .326

*=We have a tie in the standings, Yahoo has to pick a winner for their system but I think in the realms of the Octagon scoring this counts as a tie, someone correct me if I'm wrong please

Combined

1 Crimedogg32 1+1.5=2.5
2 JordanRulz 2+1.5=3.5
3 Sabonis 3+4.5=7.5
4 Greyone 8+4.5=12.5
5= Shotcaller 7+6=13
5= Bokzg 5+8=13
5= Damnlies 10+3=13
8 thelimey 4+10.5=14.5
9 Cavemandoctor 6+9=15
10 lorenzo 12+7=19
11 Ugk34 9+10.5=19.5
121 big.d57 11+12=23

For the 5th place tiebreaker we need to take the scores compared to the median score. Median score for Hth is 0.5045, roto 58:
shotcaller hth .502/0.5045 = -0.5%, roto 61/58 = +5.2%, total =+4.7%
damnlies hth .458/0.5045 =-9.2%, roto 64/58 = +10.3%, total = +1.1%
bokzg hth .512/0.5045 = +1.5%, roto 53/58 = -8.6%, total = -7.1%

which would mean that shotcaller & damnlies stay up alongside the top 4 with bokzg being relegated alonside the bottom five.

Can the commisioners double check to make sure the scoring is correct & the tiebreak procedure has been carried out correctly?

I am curious how H2H ties are determined if everyone has the same winning percentage. JordanRulz and I tied (which doesn't matter based on where we finished) but say if we only played 1 league and we tied for 6th and 7th how is it determined who would stay in the champions league and who would fall to a lower league?

Don't believe there is one in place, and not sure there's really a fair way to decide who stays and who doesn't either. We've always had to replace a few managers in the Champions League (even with the promotion of those from the First Division leagues), so that's been our mechanism in place to make room for both those tied teams to make it in. If you guys have any solutions to break a tie in that scenario feel free to offer it up.

If that were to happen this year and no one had to be replaced, I would choose to expand the Champions League to 14 teams to allow for both tied teams to stay, then I would promote an extra team.

Also, First Division ROTO final standings:

1. the one 75.5
2. Grounded Polo 72
3. jay_00 65.5
4. flyingbeavers16 61.5
5. geodbear 61
6. samo 60.5
7. FOS 58.5
7. Rounders Block 58.5
9. plonden 57
10. SC 52.5
10. deadshot11 52.5
12. baller crimson 27

I figure you know more about Yahoo than most in here, so do you know how they determined who got "first" and who got "second" in a H2H league that ties (we had no playoffs)? Do they have some sort of tiebreaker, or is it random, or does it show up for both people as #1 and a true tie?

I found this on the head to head tie break procedure:

Code: Select all
If at the end of the season, two or more players in a Head-to-Head League finish tied in the standings, the following system is used to break the tie:

1.Overall winning percentage.
2.Highest winning percentage in Week 21.
3.Highest winning percentage in Week 20.

In week 21 you won 5-4 whilst Jordanrulz lost 3-6, hence you won the yahoo tiebreaker.
