Granger played his way into this pick the last three months and that was without a good point guard. Now they have a solid floor general in ford. Really there are a lot of guys bunched up in my mind at this point.

Late 2nd would mean he's in the top 20. He didn't finish in the top 20 per game last year and he missed 20 games as well. With the departure of artest, martins game might get less efficient. I think he fell but late 2nd is a little too early.

He finished 19th in per-game value last season tied with 2 other players (Gasol and Boozer). His injuries last season were minor and shouldn't have any lingering affects into this season. And have you checked his numbers without Artest in the lineup? 28 PPG and 48% from the field seems pretty efficient to me. On overall value he has a decent shot at the top 20.

I usually don't like to gamble so I wouldn't take a 3 months approved guy. but hey that's just me.

Talking about Martin, I'm really high on his per game value. But guys that drive it to the hoop so much tend to get injured a lot too. Look at Wade/Maggette ETC sure there are exceptions but I think you have to count on Martin missing at least 10 games a season. Kinda like defensive guys like AK/Wallaca/Gino who always fight and scrap for the ball. You have to count on them missing a few more games than the average player. Anyways Martin was a steal at 30 and tends to be overlooked in many drafts.
