First Round
Best Pick: Marion - Fantasy Roto Machine...
Worst Pick: Yao - Injury prone. Fantasy Monster and more than worthy of that pick if he can finish a season. He has yet to do so as of late.
Second Round
Best Pick: J Kidd - Amazing value that late in the second round.
Worst Pick: Durant. I think everyone knows why.
Third Round
Best Pick: Josh Smith - I like this pick purely for the fact he does seem to improve upon each season and provides support for the owner in multiple cats. I would have gone with Carmelo, but he still needs to improve other facets of his game beside just scoring.
Worst Pick: My own - I went against my own drafting philosophy and went with a player that hasn't proven much. However, he fell into my drafting plan. Well see how that pans out.
Fourth Round
Best Pick: My Pick - I feel like if he wasn't derailed by a injury last season, everyone would acknowledge he is a steal at this pick.
Worst Pick: Dwight Howard - Has no reason to go this high in a roto league unless you know something I don't about him holding onto the ball better or having a miraculous change of form at the ft line.
Fifth Round
Best Pick: Brandon Roy - Just look at what the kid did in his rookie season. No reason to see why he won't improve on that. In a keeper league, his value here is great.
Worst Pick: TMac - I just don't like the guy. No other reason really.
Sixth Round
Best Pick: Tony Parker - No longer a ft liability to a team. He has managed to improve in each season in some format. I can only see him taking on a larger role as Duncan ages.
Worst Pick: There was none. Solid round. Gordon taken for a specific need to the team. So I like the pick actually.
Seventh Round
Best Pick: Anthony Parker - I find this guy to be under-rated in what he does. Great pick at this point in the draft.
Worst Pick: Kaman - I know Brand is gone and this should help him get more stats. I just don't see him making that much of an improvement.
Eight Round
Best Pick: Bargnani - Should easily have more value than where he is taken with the increased playing time. Not to mention he may get C eligibility. Don't think he had it last season.
Worst Pick: My Pick - Heck I needed a pg. My team drastically needed one. Didn't want to go with the traditional players so decided to go with a guy with some nice upside. Well see how it pans out.
Ninth Round
Best Pick: Al Harrington - Just thought it was the best pick.
Worst Pick: Nocioni - Don't see that much playtime for the guy to get enough stats.
Tenth Round
Best Pick: Mo Pete - CP3 will help his cause quite a bit.
Worst Pick: Zo - Can't fault the reasoning. But being the tenth round. He is still considered at this point as starting for your team. Could have gotten him later easily.
Eleventh and On
This point of the draft everyone is looking for that pick that could plain break out and make a difference for a team by producing past his draft position. Hard to pick a best or worst since these players are pretty much players we don't expect to be in our starting lineup except if they outproduce some how. Lets just see as the season progresses who got the best pick in these later rounds. Like those who drafted Kevin Martin and Deron Williams in the later rounds last season.
