Great run by Caveman. Looking back at the draft log, I think he did very despite not having a strong draft position.

Key picks of CP3 and Kaman really outperformed their draft position and provided complimentary stats. Surprisingly, he didn't really have any of the standout FA/WW pickups that usually put teams on top. Aside from Grant Hill which is a very good pickup, only McDyess and Scola stood out.

Granted this year was full on injuries and many questionable draft picks including my own. Damn you Deng and Gwall

Brand, Arenas, Wade, Yao were lost for the season or out for significant parts of the season and that's only looking at the first round.

Though because of this, it bodes well for next season as we all hope for far fewer injuries and with a season of experience under our belt. Maybe even those who gambled on youth for it to pan out.

Nevertheless, amazing run by Caveman. Simply unstoppable and a great core for keepers next year. CP3, Ming, Lewis and a 4th.

Great dominance this season CAVE. We were all playing for 2nd. Hopefully next season the top three will be even closer and it will make for a more interesting final push. I myself was glad I was able to tie for second and make that last push against Jordan. Really did not expect it and was basically content with making third. BTW, looks like my comment about Kaman being the worst pick in the round he went was totally off. But who knew he would blow up like that. See you next season.

I have a friend or two that would love to join the keeper league and take over the teams that will be abandoned by owners this league. They are very active and love fantasy bball. Let me know if you guys are ok with this or if you guys had some other people in mind.

An even amount of draft rounds. An odd amount favors the earlier drafting team too much as noted by botkg.

It's a valid point but also those picking later are also the ones who won or were near the top last season and they get priority in waiver status. Anything to make Caveman repeat his championship harder

Aside from that, I'm loathe to deviate from yahoo's default settings aside from it being a keeper. Changing number of rounds changes the draft rather dramatically. The last round isn't as important. So if we just considered the first 12 then it's fair under that argument. Then you could think of the last round as everyone using their waiver status to choose their final bench player.

In any case, I'd like to hear others and what they think
