i would be happy with adding another round of drafting and another roster spot purely to make this a deeper league and give us more options if we have a bunch of injuries.

I'm fine either way. I hate to sound biased because of my draft position but, as noted by others, an even amount of rounds is more balanced. The guys in the front of the draft are already getting huge boosts, considering some of the value left on board. Just my $.02. Not a big deal either way.
