Drummond could be a beast this year, the ceiling is really high. His name has been on my list for my last couple of picks but the FT% is even worse than Dwight's. Puck I think you are right if Yahoo does team FT% based on volume, but I have had trouble really pinning down the formula they use to calculate team FG% and team FT%. Some weeks it seems like some player who only gets a few shots on a Sunday night can really screw your percentages over. If I knew exactly how Yahoo calculated FT% in our format, I would be more confident drafting and building around players like Dwight and Drummond.

Anyone have any insight? Guess I could check Google, someone must have figured it out by now.

I'm assuming Yahoo calculates team FT% in a pretty straight forward way.

Total Team FTM / Total Team FTA

If they do anything else, it would be weird and kind of a bunch of BS.

I've never actually checked the math, but I can't see how else they would do it that would be fair and logical.

I'd guess that any weird end-of-week screw overs you recall are due to your total weekly FTA numbers being relatively low, and therefore, more susceptible to single misses and makes on Sunday.

Total Team FTM / Total Team FTA

This is how it has always been..

With Harden, Lillard, Beal and Gay, I think my ft% is going to be okay.

I have a little bit of an anchor.

If you do the math

Harden/Beal/Lillard/Gay = about 82.9% FT

Add in Drummond to the mix and it drops to 75.7%

For comparison (adding Dwight instead of Drummond) = 73%

Drummond's impact is significant, but no quite the FT-suicide pill that Howard is.

FYI: these number are according to BBM projections.

Damn, was going to take Boozer.

Still, maybe Rondo is a better long term pick. We'll see...

I wanted to trade back up for Paul Pierce. He should have been taken 2 rounds earlier.

Thought hard about Pierce with my last two picks, but he just didn't fit my team as good as the two guys I ended up with. He'll outperform his draft position by a landslide though. Houston deserved him after what happened to Westy.

I wanted him but decided on another PG. Will live to regret that.

What concerns me for Pierce is that he'll be playing reduced minutes as the year progresses. By fantasy playoff time, he may be resting and skipping games or have much fewer minutes.

I am surprised Gerald Henderson made it back to me. I was really debating between OJ Mayo vs. Henderson. I took the higher ceiling in Mayo, but now I'm pumped that I got both!
