I agree completely on both adjusting the playoff schedule, and the waivers thing. But for a year where we integrated so many changes with a lot of new owners, I'd say it was a resounding success. The league is much stronger now than it was before this season.

So when are we supposed to be doing our draft draw and draft?

Well, why don't we use the upcoming draw (No. 841, 28th June) as our lottery.

We could start our draft immediately after the real one, or wait a bit until free agency plays out...whatever guys prefer.

Works for me! Maybe we should do a roll call soon, just to make sure everyone's still on board? :-?

We might want to wait a bit into free agency.

A roll call would probably be good too. I'll look into it this week. ;-D

Have just run the lottery results and posted our draft order in a new thread. Congrats to hichi who has made out like a bandit, including the unibrow sweepstakes. :-)
Tough luck cnote. !+)

If there were any traded picks that are not currently reflected in the draft order, or if I've got something wrong, now would be the time to raise it. ;-D

I had higher hopes for my team last season... And now trading my picks looks real stupid. :-D Damn!

Question:

Can we trade a pending FA and their bird rights to another team? (thinking of moving Blake Griffin if I could - Griffin made 6 this past season so could he be traded for another 6 mil contract?)

Suggestion:

Can we make the contracts of any pick that is taken outside the top 10 to be non-guaranteed (can be dropped at any point in the season with no salary cap repercussion). Or at least make all second round picks have non-guaranteed contracts and that contract could be dropped during the season with no salary repercussions (would not retroactively apply; only apply to future picks).
