I posted this in the rules thread but will stick in it here too, just so nobody misses it.
The rules committee has decided to scrap the 7-day contract starting from this season (2012/13).
The main reason for this is to eliminate the need to police their correct use, i.e. make sure players are dropped on time and not started illegally. Given that only half the league used them anyway, it was felt that these contracts were more trouble than they were worth.
Check out sheet 1 at the end. If the value is 0 then the player is not owned (though his rights may be). Ranked using BBM based on last years season, amount of players = 16 teams, 16 players.
I'm not sure what happened to the spreadsheet I had the free agent groups on, but it's not on my computer, so I'm going to have to start again. I took a look at this, but I'm 100% sure I'm reading it right. I'm basing the list in guys who have no salary under 2012-13, regardless of the FA column. Hope that's right, becuase I'm going to start building the auction blocks now...
