Frye can probably be replaced. Can't see anyone bidding for him this year. :-B

Also think Tiago Splitter is missing from that list, but not sure, and don't have time at the moment to double check. :*)

OK, just so I know I've got it right, how do you place a FA bid on a player?

And to make sure I'm working off the same list is the first group (group Kobe Bryant
Eric Gordon
Carmelo Anthony
Thad Young
Jameer Nelson
Jose Calderon
Jamal Crawford
Hedo Turkoglu
Cole Aldrich
Dorell Wright
Robin Lopez

Thanks :-]

I can't remember exactly how last year went, but I believe we should have all of the group open to bid on now. I don't want to start posting them all in case I'm wrong and cause some confusion.

Thats right. The whole group (column) goes up for auction. When a player is won, the player from the same tier (row) that belongs to the next group on the list goes up. Make sense :-°

Each auction is run in it's own thread. You make a bid by replying to the thread for the player you want. Bids must follow the contract rules, and you can never bid more than the cap space you have at the time of the bid

I'm in Hong Kong at the mo, so internet access will be limited. Hope some of the other mods can keep an eye on the bidding in the early stages to make sure nobody gets off track.

Would it be possible to start inputting "draft" results into Yahoo and continue to do so as auctions are completed? It would be helpful to see the full array of FA's available and it has to be done anyways at some point.

Isn't Serge Ibaka a FA too?

In the interests of keeping free agency rolling, I think we should consider dropping FAs who's posting doesn't attract a bid in the first 24 hours (or some number of hours). Some of these guys (like Joel Anthony) are just clogging up the process at this point.
