seems like offseason signings are winding down...

I've enjoyed my initial offseason, although I wasn't entirely sure what I was doing throughout. :-D Really expected the likes of Dirk and Pau to go for quite a bit more than they went for, which definitely made me wish I had kept some cap space open to grab one of them instead of spending the last chunk just prior to those 2 coming on the market on Boozer. But Boozer was a good fit and I really didn't expect to be able to afford Dirk or Pau at the time. Oh well. Overall though I think I've got a competitive, fairly deep team that ought to make the playoffs (barring injuries), and assuming I don't trade him, Amare's 19M expiring contract coming off the books will give me some room to work next offseason as well, where maybe I'll have a clearer idea of what I'm doing. My overall goal this offseaosn was just to get a competitive, full roster without getting much more detailed than that, and I think I was reasonably successful.

I hear that. Pretty annoyed that snake made me pay 6.6 for West, then jumped off the boat to scoop Dirk for just 0.4M more. :-C
The dude is only going to miss 6 weeks or so at worst, and then you have a 1st round talent for 7M. Crazy stuff. Oh well, good for snake. Who dares wins.

;-D Just want to say thanks to the mods for all of their hard work. There may have been some bumps in the road but overall the process was very smooth. Thank you for putting time and effort into this league.

Looking forward to the season. ;-D

Well said. I am still thankful the league has continued on so strongly. This will be a great season!

Maybe next off season we can develop a google document that's a grid that would list free agents in rows and managers in columns and use it for bidding. We could tie the columns into available salary caps, thus not allowing people to go over and maybe someone with excellent excel skills could have higher values clear out lower values or something. I've just been thinking about it over the last few days and an easier way to do it/capture the values being spent by all.

When will the league be finalized on Yahoo? I'd like to nominate another player or two, but it's easier to do when I can see who's available in the FA pool.

Yeah...uh, ok...call me lazy, but it's just easier to see who is actually available from the pool when it's already up on Yahoo...as opposed to me going through the list, then double checking all the rosters, then double checking the threads to see who might already have put the guy up for bid, etc, etc, etc... ;-7

Yeah, I know I'm being nit-picky...and don't get me wrong, I'm not asking for this, like, right now, this instant.

I've already got the minimum number required for my roster...I'm just wondering when we'll be able to see the rest of the available FAs on Yahoo is all. :-)
