OK, I could use another center on my roster. If I want to play Amare at PF at times, I'd like to have some more flexibility beyond Dampier....

so where better to find a center than beautiful Paris!

So, I chose someone who is 7 foot, 247 pounds, very big, long and athletic and a good shot blocker...
Image

His PER 36 has been very consistent over the past four years....10-11 points per game, 10 rebounds per game, 1.0-1.7 blocks per game, 1 steal...dude is progressing on the offensive end boosting his FG% to 54% this past season...He is only 24, so he will continue to refine his athleticism to improve his game....

Without further ado, the Portland Trailblazers are pleased to select:

11.15 Johan Petro

Overview: A young French center who has great natural physical tools. Tall, long, and extremely well built. Moves well for a center. Possesses decent vertical explosiveness. Relies on his athleticism to be effective at this point in his career. Has some unpolished offensive tools to work with, but does not know his limitations in the least bit. Shows decent touch around the rim on occasion. Good shot blocker, with the potential to be great. Could improve immediately by cutting down on fouls. Possesses the tools to be a good defender. Pretty raw in all areas of the game. Needs to bring more intensity and effort to both games and practice to begin to get to where he needs to be.

Oh yeah, and Petro is a great locker room guy and the dude has GOT SOME MOVES!!! :-b
