I like the deep league idea

I would surprised if you can get 18 people do that deep league the way its looking right now. We only have about a week left, so not sure if thats gonna happen.

I'm just throwing a potential time out here for discussion. How does this Saturday (12-17) look for Champion's League members? Late afternoon or evening?

Yeah, I'm curious how many GMs Justin got confirmations from for the qualifier league(s). I'm sure he heard back from many that want to return, just not enough to fill the 2 leagues.

Saturday evening would work for me, Saturday afternoon is probably out. Shoot, we're dorky enough to do back to back drafts for teh champions dual leagues Saturday evening + night, right?

I'll be busy after 6 PM EST on saturday. Anytime before that is fine, and im free all day Sunday.

Re: Champions League Drafts

I'm going to be out of town this coming weekend. Might be able to do Mon 12/19 or Tues 12/21 in the evening around 7:00-8:00 p.m. PST.

If REALLY necessary, I could possibly do a draft during the daytime on Sat 12/17, but that's be cutting it close and I might have to end up letting it autodraft for the later rounds.

I work until mid-afternoon both Sat and Sun, but the evening works either day. Any evening during the week can be managed.

How about Monday night? I can draft starting at 7 p.m. central time. I could probably even do both drafts back-to-back.

Given the shortened timetable what we're gonna have to do is run the Champions League and just one First Division League this year. I'll recruit heavily next off-season so we can fill in the remaining gaps. Who gets promoted to Champions League comes down to flyingbeavers16 and biznac.

flyingbeavers: (61.5-59.5) / 59.5 = +3.36%
biznac (.525 - .502) / .502 = +4.58%

So biznac gets the last spot (replacing sabonis) in the Champions League.

8 of the 11 Champions League participants voted for dual format (2 no preference, 1 single format), so it'll continue to be a dual format league. And given 11 of the 12 First Division managers were fine with a H2H league, we'll be going with that.

PM's will be sent out within a few minutes to all the participants.
