Off-Season Plans / In-Season Updates

Just wondering if I've joined the right yahoo league? I'm in the the First Division H2H league and I've been sent the link to join the 'champs-league-3'.

This league has an online draft but I'm currently message board slow drafting in that league at the moment.

Rounders, CDoc, et al you guys are AWESOME for putting in the time/effort to keep this baby rolling. The work/family re-balance kept me away for a few years and it was nice to scale back for a bit - though competing with a couple high-school buddies have kept the fbb knowledge flowing the last couple seasons in some public roto leagues we joined. Pretty sure I've got a decent mix of guys to win this season, after the fantasy gods hit me with a big Horford pectoral pull last season. Congrats to Red - did you not win the Champion League last season? Frankly, I'm getting a bit worried one of you one-time Champion League winners might pull out another win. Consider me on the "wait-list" for the 2013-14 First Division Roto league. I'd like to bring at least one other guy (possibly two), if there's space.

ps1 - Was charmed to see I've not been removed as a mod in this forum despite being incommunicado for two years. I'll presume that was a show of respect and not simple inertia.

ps2 - I personally think most of the fbb world slept on BJennings (despite his poor game last night), who put up equivalent value to RWestbrook last season and I think will match or exceed him again. Why is one guy the fifth pick and the other guy a third rounder? That's VALUE baby. I personally took him mid 2nd before any of the bigs and felt like a crafty thief.

ps3 - samo recently fulfilled a lifelong quest of getting a '68 El Camino Malibu. Oh h*** yeah. So sweet, like having your 9th or 10th Round pick put up 3rd Round cumulative value, like DGreen is gonna do for me this season.

You were as much a part of the making of this league as I was, so it's only obvious we keep you on as a mod. If you're down to come back on and split mod/commish duties with me again then I'm all for it; if not, no worries - have gotten some help from Red and CDoc to keep this thing moving along.
