1.09 Derrick Williams (PF, Min)

Going on a small limb but wanted to make sure I got him, especially in a keeper format. All the established players I had hoped to grab were taken so I went young.

I think its awesome that i mention derrick williams and kyrie irving and they both go back to bavk mid round haha. Love d-will but it may take 2 years, hate kyrie think hes gonna be a bust. Thanks for leaving the players i really wanted fellas

what can i say i'm a sucker for frye. as much as i love derrick williams (and i do, and were he available, i wouldn't have been able to resist drafting him) he wouldn't help my team much this year. i needed 3 point shooters and some boosts in assists and rebounding which i think i got very nicely, plus a slight bump in blocks with frye that may very well lock up the category. the ideal pick for me was ray allen but he went just before me so i went with billups, even at a reduced production rate he'll provide assists and 3's and it worked out cuz i think there's about to be a big PG run

now to wait 2 rounds to pick again... ughh wake me up on saturday when it's my pick

Locking up categories with 4 top 10 guys isn't hard. Let me know when you do something really impressive. Like making a building disappear, or escaping from a locked chest while wrapped in chains.

Seriously though, if Frye is locking blocks up for you it was already locked up. Dwight and Ibaka might have something to do with that. Frye? Not so much.

hey man, over a block a game from a 3 point shooting machine is a nice bonus... and when i drafted durant and rose they werent top 10 players and dwight is supposed to be a roto KILLER (unless you know how to build around him...)

Yeah, but you can get a block and game and threes anywhere. Dwight and Ibaka lock up blocks, Frye is an insignificant footnote.

The Dwight as roto-killer meme is only a convo starter with people who don't know better too. Not so much with people who know that pairing Bron with Dwight is gold, or that holding 4 of the top 10 players is money in any format. Anyway, it doesn't matter, your core is so good that no one else is likely to win this league for 4 or 5 years unless you turn into a drooling idiot or your players suffer multiple, crippling, injuries, so whatevs.

Your team really is a work of art btw. It's hard to grab that set of guys playing in public keepers against door-knob humping retards, never mind against people know what they're doing. Kudos.
