Innagural Season. H2H or Rotisserie??

Postby DemonDeacon » Tue Nov 29, 2011 11:26 pm

I'm starting a new league this year and its the first for many in the league. Since none of us have ever played Fantasy Basketball and are all big Fantasy Football guru's should we stick to the H2H format or go to rotisserie style? I've read online that rotisserie is the "original" or most prefered style, if thats correct please let me know.

IF I go to H2H would you guys suggest, H2H Points, H2H each category or H2H most categories lol

Thanks

since you're all friends coming from football H2H will fit you more. more competitive and will keep league interest more than roto. roto is a purists game but h2h is a great place to get your feet wet.

Agree that H2H is the way to go as you're just starting out, it keeps everyone engaged longer. The bottom feeders in roto usually quickly lose interest.

Yeah, new guys coming from a football HtH background may find roto a bit much. Start with HtH and go from there. ;-D

Hey thanks everyone for the responses! I've decided to go with H2H after all. ONE more question though... When I went to change my settings it offered me up, H2H Points, H2H Each Category and H2H Most Categories lol... so many choices. Anyone with opinions on any of these?

I'd say go with each category is a win. Your football guys might feel more at home with total categories equals one win, but I think each category as a win helps keep guys interested.
