Reason I'm for it is to mimic the NBA a little more. I think I posted this in the original post in the Commish Forum, but here it is again. The NBA is imbalanced - some owners just don't care about the cap. Consequently, they always have larger payrolls. More times than not, it's the winning teams that spend more. By handing out rewards, teams that win have a bigger budget and IMO should be able to attract better quality. Usually those that already spend the money in the NBA now are winners (whether it's they generate more revenue or just have owners with deeper pockets).
However, if everyone is against it, I'll be just fine in joining the bandwagon.
