the goal is not to put handicap on good teams, but to reward them. imo good teams deserve some reward for winning. bad teams get lotto balls and probably more cap space, that's enough of a reward for sucking. good teams get some advantage in the points system which will rarely come into play anyway and nothing else

It's not a big deal to me but:
-Winning is its own reward
-I don't believe the NBA gives a cap bonus for winning
-In a Dynasty league, the winning team already has the best team and they can keep all of those players

Yeah, rewarding the winner doesn't make much sense to me either, for reasons mentioned above. Plus, what happens if someone's team is decimated by injuries? Should they be punished for that reason? Or vice versa? My team isn't that good, but I won because I had the healthiest team. I've now got an upper hand on everyone else not based on any kind of skill.

Reason I'm for it is to mimic the NBA a little more. I think I posted this in the original post in the Commish Forum, but here it is again. The NBA is imbalanced - some owners just don't care about the cap. Consequently, they always have larger payrolls. More times than not, it's the winning teams that spend more. By handing out rewards, teams that win have a bigger budget and IMO should be able to attract better quality. Usually those that already spend the money in the NBA now are winners (whether it's they generate more revenue or just have owners with deeper pockets).

However, if everyone is against it, I'll be just fine in joining the bandwagon. O:-)

everybody gets a vote. majority wins. beauty of voting :-D
there are no cap increases for winning teams in nba, but there are cash and revenue rewards. i though it was a good idea. if majority doesn't agree, i have no problem with it, but i won't be changing my vote :^ :-D
