Ok. I'll bid 260K then, if possible. As a capped out team like yourself, I thought you and I needed to use a mini roto league to determine who gets ridnour as neither of us could bid the 260K.

Depends how you look at it (ie depends upon how you slice and dice your valuation tool and how your team is setup). I can see $15M for a team that is throwing 3's or throwing steals, but otherwise $15M would definitely be his cap and a high one at that IMHO. I see a guy who has avg'd 59 games per season over the last four. And I'm going to pay how much for that and commit how much to him for that? :-? :-o

Leave it as is. Fenris doesn't have internet again right now, so he may be a while, I got some news on who to bid on for him again, but he is not going to be showing up here anytime soon I doubt, to decide this.

Everyone stop bidding already so I can grab my last guy off the FA list.

I've already been bidding assuming I spent 350K, so I'm fine with it. Not worth starting another debate anyway.

If he is healthy during the playoffs for a playoff contender. He will bring a huge advantage for an owner at the right time. With the IR spot, in SCL, his injury history can be managed.

If Yao cannot return within the next 3 seasons Nguy has many options. SCL provides IL spot, injury waiver salary protection and normal waiver salary protection. Making the gamble a safer option.

I was always plannin on saving for Yao, but I think paying him this much now is overkill. I understand with nguy's team that he is playing for the future signing mostly all young players so this may not matter as much to him, but paying 9 mill to do nothing this year is a little much in my mind to own him for 10 the next couple.

I was kind of thinking the same thing. Originally I thought if I could get him in the 5-7 million range than that's where I'd go. You obviously want him for the the three years, but average that money out as others have said and you've got him for 15 mil a year, which isn't really a bargain, its probably about right.
