Should we institute a penalty for not dropping on time? Either an automatic additional 7 day, or even auto sign for the season at the min? And if we are going to do that I think guys should have a full 24hrs to make the drop - there's no point in going all jack-boots and batons over 7 day contract players.

I like this idea...

i like automatic signing6* as a punishment as well and 24h limit. as long as player is on the roster for 7 days and not more it doesn't matter if he spent 6*24+1hours or 7*24 hours on it

When I was thinking about a time limit I was actually picturing a space of time going from hour 24 of the 7th day up to the start of the first game the next day (or maybe 7pm EST). Or maybe just the full 24 provided the guy doesn't play an extra game or anything. In essence, he need to be dropped on day 8. That's what I was thinking anyway. Come day 9, or a game played on day 8, and the team is the penalty (whatever that ends up being).

I am moving CJ Miles to the IA list. I have won Ersan Ilyasova.

I must be honest, I'm not sure I see the issue. We did an entire inaugural draft starting August 29th. :-?

Thats a ton of down time. For the league and real life sports besides nba playoffs.

oh and we do have rookie scale for 2nd rounders too

Rookie Draft 1 round or 2?
