you still need to outbid by 10k on average so it would have to be .26+.26

I thought when you said the thread was open 48 hours there was some discrepancy. I think you meant no other manager tried to claim him in between the time though now. ;-D

Just to clarify, the penalty involved for "furthermore if this infraction results in improvement in the final standings that improvement will be disregarded when assigning lottery odds for next draft and calculating points in the tie breaker points system"
I assume this means that it only affects the tie that wouldn't have been, so i basically lose only 1 point, right?

if you end up better then another gm by half a game you will be considered as tied with him. you lose that half a game when calculating your final standing. that can affect your lottery odds, should you end up in lottery and your points in a tiebreaker system

Didn't whenever this happen last year, if you got an extra game in this fashion then you would lose 1 game? Why the uptick in penalization?
