FAAB - free-agent acquisition budget.

We are 12 teams in 9cat roto @espn and about to launch this exciting feature.
Does anyone out there has thoughts on this?
We are having discussions on the initial budget, any tips on this issue are much appreciated...

Most leagues run somewhere between $100 and $200 for FAAB. To me it kind of depends on how deep your rosters are. If you;re rolling with a lot of bench slots I'd probably err on the low side there to try and prevent hoarding a little bit, or at least make people think hard about their moves. If your teams are pretty shallow then allowing guys a little more FAAB just helps keep the waiver wire active.

I like having FAAB instead of just waivers. When it comes to waivers then it is just luck. This gives everyone an equal chance to try to get the person they want.
