I was really tempted to take Pau instead of Horford with my pick but felt that Horford offered more potential upside. However, I think Pau is going to have a great season and I think Fenris got great value with his 2nd round pick.

I like getting Ibaka there, not best draft value as he has been going a bit later but he put up 1st round stats in 27 minutes a game last year and his team composition has stayed the same, while he gained some olympic experience and has been relatively healthy. 11th pick worked out, but looking forward to 2nd pick in roto.

Have to admit that I wouldn't recommend that anyone else take Horford over Gasol either, but part of me was bitter about one of my rosters last season having both Aldridge and Horford and being deprived of seeing how the pairing would have gone due to injuries. Not the most practical reason, but I feel pretty confident that the difference between Pau and Horford's production in terms of overall value won't be significant enough to make me regret the pick (knocks on wood).

I don't know that I'd draft Horford over Gasol, but I do think Horford is solid second round material this year, I have Gasol pegged as more of a late first rounder, so I'm pretty happy to have him here. So many good bigs! I'm actually way happier about Gasol in the second than I was about Wade in the first. Wade just isn't a guy that excited me this year. In retrospect I probably should have gone a different route, maybe Smith.
