Because he was not a member of the 2009 or 2010 draft classes(or any new classes: 2011 or later). He was drafted in 2005. Blake Griffin will be a restricted free agent next year for you.

How about Wilson Chandler,shouldn't he be left out of group 4 until next season, since technically noone can sign him until then anyhow barring a release? Whoever had him should retain his bird rights still, but it seems odd to be auctioning him off this offseason under the circumstances.

I agree. Leave his team the right to match and call him an RFA once he hits the NBA. I like the easy answers...

took Wilson chandler out of group 4 and moved caron butler to that spot. the amnesty list should be bigger than 10 anyway so no big deal.

Will the release of groups of FA's for bidding be randomized?

My intention is to pick the first group(could be any of the 8), and then as players are won, any owner can nominate a player from that row. for example, let's say the howard group goes first. once dwight is won, you can pick any player in his row(one of the other groups) to nominate. if gay is won, one person can pick any player from his row(in one of the other groups) to nominate.
