The important thing is whether or not you have a roster slot for the FAs eligibility that doesn't have a star starter. You can slide your current players around however you like for each bid, so long as you append changes from a successful bid to other auctions you're currently involved in. (i.e. if you sign a star FA PF that immediately changes your tie break for any other current and future bids for other PFs).
