Yep, you're not keeping him and by all accounts, it sounds like his season is done.

Either you misunderstood my post or I am not understanding your answer. :-?

I don't own Gallo. I know that he is out for the season & Corey Brewer looks to benefit greatly. Is there anyone on my current roster that should be dropped for Brewer?

I assumed you owned him as well at first. :-D

I'd maybe drop Nate Robinson for him depending on what you think your team needs are. Nate's been getting some run at SG with Hinrich back, but his minutes and production have been up and down and if Rose does come back soon it'll just get worse.

Let me ask this... Thornton & Brewer both have 6 games remaining after tonight. Mo Williams & Tobias Harris have 5. If I'm playing championship week +1/2 do I want the extra game with Thornton or 1 less & keep Mo & Tobias?

Hmmmm... now I'm not sure I want to jump on Brewer or not.

From the Denver Post: The Denver Post is speculating that Wilson Chandler -- not Corey Brewer -- will take Danilo Gallinari's (torn ACL) spot in the starting lineup.

Following Gallo's first-half injury Thursday night, Corey Brewer started the second half. But when the Italian sharpshooter missed four games in February, Chandler started three times. The bottom line is that no matter which of these two starts, both are going to push for 30 minutes and get plenty of touches. The Nuggets will be without their second-leading scorer (Gallinari) the rest of the way and could be without their leading scorer (Ty Lawson) for the final six games of the regular season. Chandler and Brewer are both strong fantasy adds.

I'm in a 6-3 fight to get to the championship week. I'm losing FT%, OREB (by 2) & REB by 7. Of the 6 CATS I'm winning, only STL (+8) & BLK (+4) are close. I've got 6 going today, he has 4. Tomorrow he has 10, I have 8, missing both C positions. I'm still thinking about C. Brewer but was thinking about dropping Thornton to pick up 1 C for tomorrow, then dropping him & getting Brewer if still available. Good plan or not?

I decided against picking up a C for today. I'm leading 8-1 with 3's, PT's, AST & STL a lock. Both % CATS, both REB CATS & BLK still up in the air. I did p/u Brewer today & dropped Thornton so if I get thru today & into the championship, I'll be ready. Go team!!!
