Just thought I would point it out, but DaRuhl has too many players still on his roster, and needs to make a drop before the season.

First casualties of the 2013-14 season:

Waiving Tayshaun Prince and Jordan Crawford. Cost to me, .13M for each (.26 total for the two).

I didn't add this yet So-Tex frankly because one of me or you is in need of clarification. Both of those guys you signed this year, and I'm under the impression that releasing them at this point, even though it is the off-season, would still cost you 75%. To me this compares to picking up a player option then wanting to drop them.

Yeah, if a player was picked up this year, there's no way he can have a 25% buy out. Those are only for the last year of multi-year deals.

I guess the math is actually 50% with what you posted, but I still think that is wrong and we are actually looking at 75%.

Oh SNAP! Sorry about that scully. I actually got the clarification from dasein a few days ago, and yes it IS %75. My spreadsheet was set up wrong (I had copied and pasted an old set of cells which still read %50).

The actual amounts should be .19M for each contract, .38 for the total.

Sorry about that! ;-D
