Keep 10 players - UPDATED

Postby tempera9 » Mon Jul 29, 2013 10:45 pm

Hi Guys.
I'm in a Dynasty Points League and I have to choose 10 Keepers for the next season.
I have 6 players that I don't have any doubt about keeping them:

- Westbrook
- Lillard
- George
- Durant
- Al Horford
- Tyson Chandler

But my problem is to choose the other 4 spots. My options are:

- Al Farouk Aminu
- Alexey Shved
- Ed Davies
- Alec Burks
- Brandon Bass
- Reggie Jackson
- John Henson
- Corey Brewer

Who should I choose?
Thanks

PS - My league settings:
Points (PTS) 1 Blocks (BLK) 2
Steals (STL) 2 Assists (AST) 1.75
Offensive Rebounds (OREB) 1.5 Defensive Rebounds (DREB) 1
Ejections (EJ) -2 Personal Fouls (PF) -0.25
Turnovers (TO) -0.5 Disqualifications (DQ) -1
Three Pointers Made (3PM) 1 Field Goals Missed (FGMI) -0.3
Free Throws Missed (FTMI) -0.3 Three Pointers Missed (3PMI) -0.75
Double Doubles (DD) 2 Triple Doubles (TD) 3

Damian Lillard
Jrue Holiday
Paul George
Kevin Durant
Kawhi Leonard
Al Horford
Gerald Henderson
Al-Farouq Aminu

Last two spots are between Allen, Scola, Mullens, and Bass. Your point settings would help here.

Tony Allen isn't a ''sexy'' fantasy player but he does brings very nice defensive stats so I would protect him ... after that Mullens in LAC could be a nice fit .

Three Pointers Made (3PM) 2 Field Goals Missed (FGMI) -0.25
Free Throws Missed (FTMI) -0.2 Three Pointers Missed (3PMI) -0.75
Double Doubles (DD) 3 Triple Doubles (TD) 5

And what do you thing about reggie jackson? Do you think that he could "explode" this year being Oklahoma 6st man? Or Wesley Johnson being a Lakers starter?

@Odin: I love to see Tony Allen playing, but with my league settings i don't think that he could be the best choice.. Neither Mullens playing in the Clippers bench..

I'd go with Scola, then give the slight edge to Mullens over TA for the second spot. TA is terrible in this format - ranked 276th in per-minute value - and I don't think he'll get enough minutes to where he'll be valuable. Wes Johnson is flat out awful, and there just won't be enough minutes for Reggie to make an impact - Thabo/Lamb at SG, and Russ is healthy. He'll play 15 mpg, if that.

Just from eyeing your points system, I'd go with Burks, Jackson and Henson pretty easily. For the last guy, I'd take a flier on Aminu.
