This contract is a Calderon.

I can't even imagine what Lebron will fetch. That is if any of us have money to spend that year.

Even though I had NOTHING TO DO with the original contract, I am forever connected to one of the first words attributed to this league's "gloss"...

Yes...we pulled a "Calderon"... :-B

Nice... :*)

Seeking clarification - I have $14M of cap room left and Jeff Teague is still on roster but zero salary (FA group 6). How does this impact my cap room, if at all?

Teague isn't on your roster. Scully just has his ghost sitting there so we know you have his bird rights. He doesn't impact your cap at all, unless you bid on him.

I'm not sure even death should be an excuse to get out from under that thing. :-b

If it makes you feel better Jim a max wouldn't have stopped LMA going to 25M anyway as 30 was the option on the ballet. Hopefully, this will become a cautionary tale before the summer of LeDurant roles around.

I would be laughing harder at cap- getting out from under one crappy contract so that he can go create an even worse one- except he's managed to trade away rubbish contracts more than once already, so who knows. :-B

I can tell now, someone's going to offer 50M for Durant in 2 years.
