It appears I've lost the auction on KG even though I thought I had made a bid last night. Must have happened at the same time the cafe crashed because now I see the bid never registered.

If it was down at all, it was intermittent. You don't want KG at that cost anyway. :-D

Also, I'm matching Favors Jim. You jumped the gun there.

I noticed the site was down this morning too, so yes, if you can't be an office day where you're behind your computer, it can screw your bid....

The Cafe's been going down like clockwork right around 3am my time (Central Standard). I'm a night owl, so I'm usually around when it goes down, it may come back up intermittently, but it's normally down for a couple of hours or so, till right around 5am. After that, it's up again throughout the day, going down for small chunks of time once in a while (10, maybe 15 mins tops).

I say we make an adjustment to some of the auctions here...considering we've made adjustments for just about everything else... ;-7

If the site went down, i'm in favor of re opening some auctions. We have the time anyway.

How did I jump the gun? You had 24 hours to match and you didn't? Am I missing something?

if I read the rules correctly, the 24h applies starting from the end of the bidding process, 12h after the last bid, meaning 36h available for matching, trading after your 44M contract proposal..

Yup, 24hrs from the close of the auction, not from when you made your bid. You're missing the extra 12 hours I still had up my sleeve.

I'm not going to lie guys. This is very annoying to me. If you want to match someone and have is RFA rights do it. The point of the 24 hour rule isn't to wait and tie up money. It in case you have a real life and need time to eat, work, and sleep.

So there's two parts. One is I'm not 100% sure the rules state 36 hours, though I understand they can be read like that. And two, if you're going to match a guy simply do it and don't mess around.

I've said before the reason for this league isn't too manipulate rules to benefit yourself. Keep the spirit in mind.

In reality we should have done RFAs at the beginning to avoid this, but we didn't realize this until after starting.
