Anyone who watched a few Clippers games knows the problem with Bledsoe. He can't run an offense, not even a simple Vinny offense. He reminds me a lot of Jarryd Bayless. Bayless was the one guy that NBA players around his draft year said was the best player out of that his draft class athletically and skillwise and were suprised he couldn't translate his talent into a better NBA career (Kevin Love has some good quotes on him). I hear the same quotes about Bledsoe as I did Bayless, but I also see the same problems. It will be interesting to see if he can turn his talent into a big time fantasy game. I'm not sure he is a can't miss top 30 player. :-?

The Bledsoe hype is quite high, for sure. It would have been interesting to see exactly how high his contract would have gotten this offseason if he was able to be bid on.

Twenty-five million per for four years for Bledsoe anyone? Anyone? :-b Maybe not quite that, but I think it would have been stupid high.

Or you can just bid on one who's hurt and will miss half the season, apparently that works for you. Enjoy the DNPs ;-D

I'd rather have 10 PF/C eligible contracts than some of the contracts some of you guys have. :-D

Hello Guys,

when we do a straight buy-out, if I'm correct, there is no added cost for doing it during the season versus the offseason right?
for a 2years contract, it's 75% of the 1st year & 50% of the 2nd year, right?

thanks!

It'll be 75% during the year in which you buy him out (that includes the current season if it started) and 50% for any seasons after that.
