Yahoo's New Look

Postby RedHopeful » Wed Aug 28, 2013 2:34 am

Anyone who is playing fantasy football, or following the box scores from current on-going sports, should have noticed the new web page layouts. Can't say I'm a fan, but hopefully it'll grow on me.

What does everyone else think of it?

This is my thought as well. I liked yahoo's simple clean look when looking at players and box score, but agree like most things I'll get used to it.

I wouldn't be surprised if they make this a fantasy football only thing. They usually make football look different than the other spots.

I'm ok with new layout and format. It's the background that makes it harder on my eyes. Like on the football side. That football field background makes the rest of the data hard to see IMHO.

What I have a big problem with is the new player pages. Absolute nightmare to navigate, and even worse on a mobile device. X-I

I don't like it either, hope it doesn't send many fantasymanagers to espn
I actually liked the sober look.

So now, not only do I hate the new look, but also their new stringent eligibility. Just looking at some of the players in the database in a newly formed league -- almost no one has dual eligibility. For instance, Love, Duncan and Favors all only classify as PF's. :-t :-t :-t :-t :-t

Now it's getting dangerously close to just giving Yahoo the shaft. :-[

yeah im hoping they fix some of the position eligibility issues, noticed that right away as well. Will make drafting for position scarcity a lot more common if they stick with it.

I think I'm still a Yahoo lifer, love it or hate it...
