Lebron trade options

Postby raffrox01 » Fri Apr 25, 2014 3:03 am

16 team 9 cat dynasty league (ie you keep all your players every year).

I'm the 4th best team in the league but the top two teams are a massive massive leap ahead from the rest of the league.

The league winners have Durant, Cousins, Aldridge, Westbrook, Kyrie etc... while the team that finished 2nd has Davis, CP3, Harden, George, Curry etc... They are literally unbeatable presently.

I have offers from both those teams for Lebron. If I trade Lebron to one of these teams, that team will win next season imo. No one has a shot anyway but I am concerned about 'breaking' the league if one of those teams has Lebron as well.

Option 1: Westbrook + Batum + pick 6 in this years rookie draft for Lebron + Rudy Gay
Option 2: Harden or Paul George + Chandler Parsons for Lebron + Wes Matthews
Option 3: Keep Lebron

Either of those worth trading a soon to be 30 year old Lebron?

Thanks.

Hard no to both those trades. I'd keep LeBron.

16 team 9 cat dynasty league (ie you keep all your players every year). OK so I have batting back Lebron trades for months.

The two top teams (obviously) want Lebron. Their teams are stacked. One team Durant, Love, Kyrie amongst others and won last year while the other has Anthony Davis, Curry, CP3, Harden, Paul George.

Its a 16 team league so these guys have a stranglehold on the league and most probably will do for at least the next few years regardless of what moves I make.

This is my team...

PG ... Dante Exum (Uta - PG,SG) / Tyler Ennis (Pho - PG)
SG ... Monta Ellis (Dal - PG,SG) / Wesley Matthews (Por - SG,SF) / Victor Oladipo (Orl - PG,SG)
SF ... Lebron James (Mia - SF,PF)
PF ... Ryan Anderson (NO - PF,C) / Markieff Morris (Pho - PF,C) / Josh McRoberts (Mia - PF,C)
C .... Al Horford (Atl - PF,C) / DeAndre Jordan (LAC - C) / Nikola Pekovic (Min - C) / JaVale McGee (Den - C)

I have two offers...

Team one is offering Jabari Parker + Lamarcus Aldridge + Batum for Lebron + Odalipo + Pekovic

Team two is offering Paul George + Giannis Alphabet for Lebron + around pick 12 in next years rookie draft

Either team that gets Lebron will more than likely win the league and dominate even more. I'll get younger in each deal and can build a solid core of young guys who will be first round quality in a few years possibly (?) Help keep me sane here fella's. Either of these worth doing?

I know that its the off season but I'd really appreciate your wise thoughts!
