Nice show Steve!
Justin, what makes you so sure Hibbert will continue to be a fouling machine? He exhibited a lot of improvement in the summer leagues and has performed pretty well this preseason considering the whistle-happy replacement referee’s. Brook Lopez had similar problems in last years summer league but showed nice steady improvement through the course of last season.
Even if Hibbert improves on his dreadful foul rate of nearly 8 per 36 minutes to say 6 per 36 minutes, his ceiling and potential are still going to be very limited. He’s going to have to do a heck of a lot in those 22-24 minutes to be a viable option in standard 12×13 leagues. BTW, 6 fouls in 18 minutes of action last night proves my point that he hasn’t really made major strides to resolve this issue.
